MUSIC/MEDIA SHARING SEARCH BY ARTIST NAME?

I Love the MEDIA Sharing capability.  I love music and have over 12,000 songs on my computer. My only gripe is there is no easy way to search the music on the Direct TV function. Example.....I want to listen to an album by the band YES.  I go into Media Sharing go into ARTIST and the Artist list starts at "A"  The scrolling feature is not quick. It can take me literally five minutes just to get to the "D" artists.  I usually give up before i get to the music I want to listen to because it would take too long to get to the artist at end of Alphabet.

HERE IS THE BIG QUESTION!!!

CAN YOU SEARCH ARTIST BY NAME ANYWHERE???  CAN I TYPE "Y" and it GET ME TO THE "Y" ARTIST WITHOUT HAVING TO USE THE SCROLL DOWN BUTTON?
