Need “local” channels not ones that are over 100 miles away!!
We live in Saddlebrooke,AZ and the local channels we receive are for Phoenix which is over 100 miles away. In the past we had the local channels for Tucson only 20 miles away. WE NED AND WANT THE TUCSON LOCAL CHANNELS!
I was on the phone for over an hour today with customer service, my call was dropped at least 4 times and nothing was resolved. Very frustrating!!!

The FCC determines what locals you get DTV has nothing to do with it. Check this link to find what local you will get.

Per Federal regulations, DirecTV may only provide you the locals for your Designated Market Area (DMA). Check www.directv.com/locals to verify what you should be getting.
If you are not getting the locals as shown, then most likely there is an issue with the service address on record as what DMA you are in is determined by your zip code and county. You would need to call DirecTV to correct.
However, if the locals you receive match then you would have to contact the FCC about a DMA dispute. Having locals from 20 miles away vs over 100 sounds more like an address discrepancy, but not impossible that the DMA lines were adjusted.
