Netflix and YouTube

Can't connect to Netflix or YouTube on my Samsung smart TV. I have DirecTv and can see the Netflix icon when I start (ON) the TV but don't see these apps after the icons go away. How do I find the Netflix and YouTube apps after the tv is on so I can signon and access these apps?

You need to change the TV input to ANT to use the TV apps. If this doesn't work you need to check the TV's manual.

Netflix has nothing to do with DirecTV, and YouTube discontinued their app when they started their own paid service.

You will need to change your TV's input to the regular Antenna (ANT) input to use your "smart" TV's apps, if the TV itself is connected to internet of course.

If changing the input doesn't locate the options, check with the manual or TV maker.
