NFL PACKAGE

I have the NFL package. How does having games on Apple affect my NFL package?

Exactly. It's my understanding the TV deal works as follows:

2022:

Games in Europe on ESPN+.

Thursday night games on Amazon. In markets of the teams playing, they'll be on a "regular" TV channel.

Week 1 and Thanksgiving will be on NBC.

Sunday midday games will be on CBS and Fox. Nothing changes. Additional games on Sunday Ticket.

Sunday night games on NBC and Peacock.

Monday night games on ESPN, ESPN+ and maybe ABC on occasion.

Changes for 2023 and future years:

One Sunday night game per year could be exclusive to Peacock.

The Super Bowl will continue to alternate between CBS, Fox and NBC. Two future Super Bowls will be on ABC.

Look for more games to have alternative presentations, such as what we saw last year on Nickelodeon.

What you'll need to watch your city's team:

Broadcast TV.

What you'll need to watch the "regular amount" of games:

Broadcast TV, Amazon, NFL Network, ESPN, ESPN+ and in future years, Peacock for one game per year.

NFL Sunday Ticket won't change.

It doesn’t effect your package at all. Those games probablyaren’t part of Sunday Ticket, just like Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, etc. I guess I haven’t heard, what games are going to be on Apple?

Apple has a streaming deal with MLB, not NFL.

DirecTV still is the sole provider for the NFL Sunday Ticket. Remember the key word is "Sunday". Just mentioning as every year there are people who think they get every day.
