NFL Sunday Ticket CBS Issue

Will NFL Sunday Ticket include games that are broadcast on CBS even though the local CBS feed is no longer available? Half of the games on NFL Sunday Ticket are through CBS.

Nope, as blackout rules still apply ST can only provide out of market games, all in market games are blacked out.

You need an OTA antenna connected to the TV or to an LCC to add the OTA channels to the HR44/54 receiver guide.

That does not answer the question.  If Directv is not Carrying ANY CBS networks...will the games be visible through the Sunday Ticket on DIrectv?

NFL Sunday Ticket will only show out-of-market games. These are games that are not on a local channel in your market.

If your local channel, such as CBS, broadcasts a game then that is the only place you can watch it. Negotiations do not change where the game is viewable. In that event you would use a normal antenna to pick up the free broadcast.

DirecTV is currently not allowed to broadcast any channels that are directly CBS owned, or are owned by local affiliate Nexstar. If your CBS is through a local affiliate (other than Nexstar) you can still watch it as it is not affected by those two negotiations.

The contract dispute only affects several CBS stations in cities where CBS actually owns the station. Most CBS affiliates are not affected by this. So, to directly answer your question, the only games that would be affected are those games shown on YOUR local CBS station.  Assuming, of course, that the dispute is not resolved before NFL season starts.

All of the games carried by CBS will still be on Sunday Ticket as normal. This dispute with CBS has no impact on Sunday Ticket. Any game on your local CBS station is blacked out on Sunday Ticket only in your market. That game is still available on Sunday Ticket in every other market.
