NFL Sunday ticket

You have a website where you can purchase the nfl Sunday ticket, but any address is invalid. Just a gimmick to make you sign up for their crappy direct tv service.   I can’t wait until 2022 when the exclusivity deal is over!!! You guy will burn in (Edited per community guidelines)!!!

Well NFL Sunday Ticket.TV (the streaming-only service) is only available for qualifying addresses. If your address does not qualify then DirecTV is your option. The NFL have an exclusive agreement with DirecTV for the full Sunday Ticket.

DirecTV is the only provider with the Sunday Ticket and is a nationwide service, so of course only a small set of addresses are going to qualify for streaming-only. To do otherwise would be bad business. And DirecTV is a fine service itself, but might not be the best overall fit depending on the individual.

So if you want to fully feed your NFL addiction you get DirecTV. Otherwise enjoy whatever games showcase on your locals.

Acutely Direct tv and Direct tv now (now att now).  Have been losing customers even with the Sunday ticket, that expires 2022.  What are they going to do to acquirer new customers at that point?  They don’t seem to be doing a good job in attracting and retaining new customers even with the Sunday Ticket.

I wasn’t asking for the service at no cost, 300 as their site offers would be a good business model.  With Covid people can’t go to their local sport bar to watch the games, so why not cash in on supply and demand.

I don’t want or need a 24 month contract with a satellite company just to in joy more football.

The rumors are that the NFL going to offer the NFL Sunday ticket 🎫 on all streaming services in the future.

Att is like the Dinosaurs 🦕 they are going to go instinct. Myopic thinking has alway hindered this company growth.

Per the requirements from the NFL's agreement with DirecTV, your address is not allowed streaming-only for it. There is no option to pay for what you don't qualify for.

So to get NFL Sunday Ticket you get DirecTV. Otherwise you go without. That is the option the NFL permitted DirecTV to have. Regardless of your not liking it, that is the reality.

DirecTV is not going extinct. Not everywhere has good enough internet (if internet at all) to support streaming, especially with more attempting work/school from home during a situation like Covid. But the sky is nationwide.

@Mpinon1113 @kenmc

A fresh thread would have been suggested as that is a different situation, as this thread is about a consumer who doesn't want DirecTV and upset they couldn't get the streaming-only version as their address didn't qualify.

Hope the call goes well and you get it sorted out.
