It's my understanding that a customer does not need to pay for YouTube TV. Apparently it'll be inside that app, but a separate fee. (I think. My understanding of the situation subject to change at any time.)
NFL Sunday Ticket will still be on DirecTV for Business.
And yeah, rural customers are probably going to feel the pinch. I haven't had anything lower than 50Mbps in close to 10 years, but I realize that I'm fortunate that way. A lot of people would love to have 30Mbps down.

That is unfortunate for those who don't have good enough internet, or internet at all. Streaming hasn't replaced everything.
But perhaps footbal finantics will be the push to get better internet nationwide (reach, quality, and minimum bandwidth). We shall see.

Rural customers are absolutely going to feel this. Other areas, DirecTV is one of many options, but for rural satellite becomes the only option.
I get it is a business decision, but I wonder what NFL's explanation is going to be for all the rural viewers that have that taken away.
