NFL Ticket
I am signed up and pay for the NFL Sunday Ticket. However, we didn't get many games (particularly Thursday games) because they were on Peacock. Can you explain why these games are not included in the Direct TV package? I'd like to understand, particularly for next year if I will be able to get ALL the games and if not, what exactly will Direct TV provide under its NFL package.
Same for baseball - will the games be on streaming services and not on Direct TV (trying to determine whether or not to pay the premium for games - but then not be able to view them).
What is the plan going forward?

Answer is in the name. The NFL Sunday Ticket is for out-of-market games on Sunday. That is how the NFL has it setup and not expected to change that plan. The only possible change is the NFL is considering on alternate options on who has the Sunday Ticket, but that wouldn't expect to change what you can watch.
As for in-market games, those will be on local channels as normal.

Sorry to have to correct you but the NFL Sunday ticket is so that people can get all the out-of-market games that are on SUNDAY ONLY that you would otherwise not be able to watch. You do not get Monday-night football with the NFL Sunday Ticket that comes on ESPN like Monday night Football Thursday Night Football comes on PRIME, not Peacock and these are not a part of the NLF SUNDAY TICKET. Prime has an exclusive deal for those games. If you want to be able to access those games that are on Thursday night you would need to sign up for a prime membership through Amazon.

As for the MLB Extra Innings, that can get a bit complicated. Just like other sport subscriptions, it is for in-market games only. However, ESPN and Fox have rights to certain afternoon/evening games on Saturday and Sunday. As of earlier this year, MLB signed a deal for some games on Apple TV.

The main thing is Sunday Ticket provides access to out of market games broadcast by Fox and CBS only. There are no NBC, ESPN or Amazon games on Sunday Ticket. Late in the season, that may also include Saturday games. There are games on Saturday, Dec 24 this year. Those games will be on Sunday Ticket channels for anyone not getting them on a local channel.

DTV has no control over the NFL or MLB who sells the broadcast rights to games, so those games sold to other providers will not be on any DTV service.
