No NFL season opener for direct tv users
You have ruined any edge you had with the NFL package when you can’t even make an agreement with NBC to get the FIRST game of the season that isn’t included in the NFL package. What a joke you are now.

The NFL Sunday Ticket has nothing to do with your NBC channel. NFL ST is only for out-of-market games. If a game is on your local channel then it is in-market and so per the NFL rules you cannot watch it on the Sunday Ticket.
DirecTV and the affiliate owner of your NBC are negotiating the next carriage deal. This has no affect on the NFL Sunday Ticket. To think otherwise would be the joke.

This I know!! But the fact that direct tv doesn’t feel it’s important to it’s customers to give them every station that was promised when we signed up just hurts it’s customers They do not care. They make enough money to not come to an agreement for every station promised when we signed our contract

DirecTV, just like any other TV provider, cannot promise you that any channel will always be available. The agreements with each channel come up at different times. Sometimes the channels play hardball and take their feed away to try and leverage a bigger raise in costs.
So if they cave to every channel's demands instead of negotiating, then you will be accepted even higher bills. Sure it might only be a $1 here or $2 here, but all the channel's add up. If DirecTV were to just pay the increase every time they would go out of business. No business makes enough money to just pay higher and higher costs without worry.
By their Terms of Service they are providing the channels correctly. Your service gives access to locals with no "promise" of any specific local being there permanently. Sorry it is not the answer you want, but it is the reality.
(d) Our Programming Changes.
Many factors affect the availability, cost and quality of programming and may influence the decision to raise prices and the amount of any increase. These include, among others, programming and other costs, consumer demand, market and shareholder expectations, and changing business conditions. Accordingly, we reserve the unrestricted right to change, rearrange, add or delete our programming packages, the selections in those packages, our prices, technologies used to deliver the Service, and any other Service we offer, at any time.

It’s the owner of your local channel that pulled their station. Directv would have gladly continued carrying them while they negotiate. You can be angry with Directv if you want but also make sure you let your local station know you aren’t happy. My local NBC station is working fine. The game was great.
