Notification of Disney-DirecTV contract resolution

Is there a way to be notified via text or email when the Disney-DirecTV contract dispute is resolved? I'd like to avoid having to repeatedly check the DirecTV site for any news...

No. You can keep checking here, or simply check the channel on your TV. See also the banner at the top of the Forum.

Just change service. This isn't how customers are treated .

These disputes affect all TV providers. Changing providers is, at best, a short term fix. Just ask folks who subscribe to Dish Network, Comcast, or any other provider.

I'm hoping for resolution like Spectrum got.   I don't want sport channels and have been paying when I don't watch them.

So lower your channel package to below Choice to lose the RSN fee or see if you can still get the preferred Extra package.

Don't watch sports than either reduce package to below Choice (Family, Select, Entertainment) as gets rid of the RSNs so no RSN fee.

If still available there is Preferred Xtra which no RSN fee either putting it at total cost as if you were on Choice but with other non sports channels added in making it comparable to Xtra for those that watch little to no sports.

Yes, Cancel your service and find someone who will give you the service you pay for!

Hulu, Fubo, Youtube

It's not 1982, they are not the only "cable" company in town!
