PPV VOD still on DVR after 24 hours?

Hello,

I watched a PPV movie on Sunday 8/14 and at the end I must have hit "keep". Its still on my DVR as of 8/16. Last night while attempting to watch another program on my DVR I accidentally hit play on the PPV movie. I don't think I was charged for this but I'm curious about it. The expiration date says 1/26. Does that mean I can watch this as many times as I want without paying until 1/26?

Sorry, but no, you didn't "accidentally" hit the keep button.  The PPV recordings stay on the DVR beyond the 5:59 AM paid period and will remain until the expiration date at which time they will auto delete.  If you wish to watch the program another time after the original pay period, you'll need to pay again.  Personally, I delete the shows as soon as I'm finished watching as there aren't many worth paying a second time to watch.

I never said I "accidentally" hit the keep button. In fact I don't even remember having the option of keep or delete when the movie stopped like I'm used to seeing when a DVR'd program is over. But its there so either you don't get that option with PPV or I selected keep. Are you saying you don't get that option or is that a sarcastic remark for no reason?

What I said was I accidentally hit the play button. I'm a new customer and not used to the remote. It was last night and in bed in the dark. I also hit stop and deleted it immediately after it started playing and posted this today and called to make sure.

I'll just make sure I just delete it immediately when its over as I feel the same. The movie was enjoyable the first time, but not worth paying for a second.

You're looking for a boogey man where none exists.  I had no sarcastic intent whatever.  I was simply pointing out that the PPV would stay on your DVR until you delete it.  All of us are users here and I spent a fair amount of time telling you chapter and verse how the PPV worked.  Use the info for whatever it's worth to you.

Sorry for that then. I appreciate the info. To me it came across like you saying I was lying about accidentally hitting the wrong button. I have read your posts and you seem very helpful, but others on here seem to have a very sarcastic and superior tone to their posts. My apologies for thinking that way. I was incorrect.

So just to clarify: once you start watching a previously downloaded PPV movie, you are charged for it, but with that price you can watch it as many times as you want before 5:59 am the next day, right?

Typically, yes.
