Replay button jumping too far back

Since the last update, when the replay button is pressed quickly several times, instead of jumping back 6 seconds per press, it jumps back to the last tick mark. This occurs with both recordings and live TV. I believe this is the only button with an issue. 

I’ve contacted DirecTV several times. They replaced the Genie Mini and the triangle tower-shaped device, but neither fixed the issue. As a bonus, I lost all my recordings and settings. The remote is an RC73, and I’ve tried three different remotes—all with the same problem. 

Additionally, after navigating back to where I was, I often experience pixelation and audio problems for a few seconds.

THIS IS A JOKE!!!  DIRECTV DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ITS SUBSCRIBERS.  OVER TWO MONTHS WE HAVE BEEN COMPLAINING ABOUT THIS ISSUE AND IT ISN'T IMPORTANT ENOUGH FOR DIRECTV TO FIX IT!!!  I AM DONE--GOING TO YOUTUBE.

I have the same issue with the backwards replay button.  It is software related.

I received a post on a different thread that the problem is solved. Lo and behold, my replay button is working properly.

Hmcm 

I THINK it has to do with the newest update. People get them at different times. Dunno if there is a way for you to make it update manually. This is just based on what I’ve read on other threads.

We don't recommend trying to force a download as most of the time you get the same version you have but there are times you will download a beta version that can brick your receiver.

Apparently there are still issues. I’ve tested the skip back button since reading the post that states it’s fixed. Sometimes I’m able to press the skip back button in quick succession and the system behaves as it should. Other times it skips back to the prior time tick. 

Does anyone have the software update version number where the problem was solved.

It’s a Christmas miracle! ! Mine appears to be working properly as well after a quick test of the jump back feature. Hopefully the pixilation and freezing after using the jump back feature has gone away. I will test throughout the day to see if it is truly resolved for me. Hallelujah!

Mine DoublePlay  works today. HS17R1/500 Server software 0x1b7a dated 12/3.  

Any thought to channel selection?

Well it seems the replay issue has been fixed for me as well   Now its the jump forward that is jumping all the way to live tv or the end of the recording for me.  Hopefully this doesn’t persist.
