Reset frequency
Do I have to reset my boxes every day? Whenever I have an issue, which is offen, the first response is what boxes do you have and try resetting it, this is disruptive to any recordings or people watching on other tv's and stops everything for about 15 minutes as it resets. It seems to need resetting at the most inconvenient times and sometimes even just crashes and resets itself randomly should I reset everyday at a convenient time so this dosent disrupt as much. And problems usually cant befixed by resetting because the damage has already been done it's not going to bring back missed recordings ECT. Staring at a loading screen 15 minutes a day seems unacceptable to attempt to prevent issues later.

Sounds like it needs to be replaced. I've gone years without resenting it other then when it is reset by software updates.

You should not need to be resetting it at all, certainly no more than any other computer (which is what it basically is)
What problems are you actually having?

Every day is a problem. Sure it is a basic step in troubleshooting, but if you are doing it that often then it is not a temporary issue. Possibly a box needs replacing, but before that a few things.
What is the exact problem you are having? (symptoms, error message, etc.)
Models of all your boxes and which ones seem to be affected?
Since you mention resetting on its own, have you tried a full power cycle? This would be unplugging power from the box for at least a minute. Unlike a simple red button reset, this clears the memory which might get rid of any bad data causing the issue.
