Snow on Dish

When it snows, my DirecTV is gone.  Not available.  Many Satellite dishes, regardless of who provides the service are out of luck when the snow falls.  Is there some way to heat the dish so the snow melts off. Seems like someone, some company has figured this out.  Please advise.

Here is one example of a dish heater available, I'm sure there are other makes and models available.

DTV  says not to do that.

There are dish heaters made by 3rd parties.

Some use a "super soaker" with warm water to clear the dish as needed.

Another option is gently brushing off with a broom. Though be careful that you don't mess with alignment. Suggested easy access, such as pole mount in yard or other lower spot within reach.

The spray Pam option is NOT advised.
