Splitting the signal to the room next door

I would like to be able to watch the same show in the room next to where my Directv tuner is, my remote does operate the Directv tuner from the next room already. Can I add a splitter to do this, and if so do you recomend one?

im assuming the box is connected hdmi and you would need an active hdmi splitter if its connected to the tv by coax then just a cable splitter will do.

Thank you so much for getting back to me, just to be clear, the coax goes into the tuner from the dish, an HDMI cable goes from the tuner to the TV, you are saying I can split the signal out of the tuner with an HDMI splitter to both TV's, correct?

If I understand you my only hurdle is purchasing the correct HDMI splitter, I reached out to one company on Amazon and they said theis would not work, can you recomend one that will? Here is a link to the different splitters I have been looking at.

As long as the HDMI Splitter supports "HDCP Copy Protection", you should fine. Most modern powered HDMI Splitters do support HDCP.
