Sportsnet LA in Los Angeles
supposedly the blackout is over and we can watch the dodgers on sportsnet LA in Los Angeles. Sportsnet LA is part of my package, yet i still can't access the channels and watch the games. After being on the phone with DirecTV for about 2.5 hours, they said they 'think' the channel is blacked out in my zip code. I live 5 miles from the stadium and according to this link, I should have access. can someone PLEASE provide insight on why I can't access this channel, and why DirecTV can't get this straight? it's extremely frustrating.

Check www.directv.com/rsn to verify what is in-market. Watch for an RSN to be cutoff at the bottom of the page, as it is not formatted well and that general area has a lot of RSNs. Have to try and select, highlight text and drag down to force the additional info to viewable. They really need to fix that page where there are that many RSNs. If you have trouble with the page, just list the zip code and others here will try to double check.
Being within "5 miles", there is a chance that one of your locals got the rights to the game. If so, that supersedes Regional. In that case you would watch on that local (and if DirecTV doesn't have that local, you use a regular antenna).
Though MLB does have unique rights compared to other sports. Fox has rights to later games on Saturday, and ESPN the same for Sunday.

There are only 10 games during the normal season on the local channel KTLA 5 and a quick look at the 60 day schedule shows there are no games on KTLA during the 60 day period. I do get 690 in LA county. Have you tried refreshing your authorizations?

Thank you so much, Juniper. I tried that link and just as you said, it was cut off and it didn't allow me to drag down the page when i selected and tried to scroll. Zip code is 90042 - can someone check to see if the Dodgers/SportsNet LA is truly on blackout here? I can't seem to believe that it is.

So I called tech support again today hoping they can resolve this so I could watch tonight's game. After an hour, they still couldn't figure out what the issue was. They also said 690 is the 90's music channel, and I told them it shows as the SNLA channel to me. They weren't able to resolve it, so they said they'd escalate the issue and call or send me an email with the status. Here's what I received. I have the choice package, which shows SNLA as part of my channel lineup. So incredibly frustrating.

You are in AT&T TV RSN so you are in DTV RSN and you have the Choice package so that is bull.
