Even if I watch extra innings the dodgers broadcast is still blacked out!

If you are in-market you generally watch on the RSN as you've been doing.

Occasionally a local channel in your market may get the rights for a specific game. If so, you watch it there.

MLB has additional blackout rules for Friday and Saturday games, that other professional sports do not have. And now Apple TV has some rights.

Fox has certain rights for afternoon MLB games on Saturdays, ESPN has the same rights for night games on Sundays, and starting for the 2022 season, Apple has the same rights on Friday nights for two games each Friday to stream on its Apple TV+ platform. Broadcasters cannot show games of in-market teams, regardless of whether the game is home or away, if the game of the local team has a certain start time (usually there are no other games scheduled at these times).

I’m just so confused 

when I watch channel 690 on my tablet  it shows the channel and the program it’s showing 

but when I watch it on my tv it says I don’t have the channel though :(

Yes MLB has the most in-depth blackouts. And Apple TV+ just makes it worse.

If the blackout is in error, you could try refreshing service authorizations (which may need resetting the receiver as well to recognize). www.directv.com/refresh

If you cannot use (or find) the refresh option, then call DirecTV to have an agent do so. Website is going through a lot of maintaince since the new co-owner took over operations.

They are now on the All Star break. The 7/14 game is on AppleTV and the 7/15 game is on Fox.  There was no blackout as I watched the Dodger/Angels games on Fri/Sat.  Not getting 690 is an account problem that only DTV can fix.  Have you tried logging into your account and refreshing your authorizations? 

I’ve called 3 times already. No help.

I have been watching 690 all year and don’t understand this problem at all. 
To me it still doesn’t make sense I can watch it on my phone and tablet but not the tv. 

channel 691 still works on my tv…

The agent I talked to on Saturday PROMISED ME that the channel would be up and running by the next day.

Sounds like it was an authorization error. Agent over the phone can either refresh service authorizations or even do a "restart services" option that only they have. If that doesn't fix a confirmed issue, even with a red button reset, you can go a step further an unplug your receiver from power for a couple minutes. That clears the memory cache in case anything there was causing an issue. Guide will have to download from the satellites again (24-48 hours to complete), but should not be an issue for any recordings already scheduled.

I was watching 690 on my TV so there is no broadcasting problems, so it saying you are not subscribed which seems to be part of the problem as you can't subscribe to it as it is provided to anyone in the Choice and above channel packs in the Dodger market. It is a problem with your account.

I am subscribed and have the choice pack… so I should get the RSN.

Very odd for the channel to stop working mid billing period.

They will let me know within the next 72 hours via email. 

DirecTV doesn't do support by email. Agents over the phone do not have outside email access. The official forum help team might send you a DM, but if you were told over the phone about getting an email, that was most likely just to get you off the phone.

Are you still getting the other RSNs like 693,692? I know you are still getting 691.
