Want to disconnect service now that ESPN, Disney and ABC are gone.

Want to disconnect service now that ESPN, Disney and ABC are gone.

I am unable to get anyone on the phone or online to speak with directly about this. DirecTV has gone straight down the tubes and continues to hemorrhage customers every quarter to the tune of hundreds of thousands.

There are better services for MUCH less money.

We pay too much money every month to be dealing with these channel blackouts. These deals should be done ahead of time to avoid this. It seems like every 3 months there's a blackout on several channels. I've been with y'all 15 years because it's convenient for my father and I but not cheap. I could get the same channels give or take a few other channels for $55 a month from sling and I'm almost there. I pay $175 for channels I'm supposed to have but every 3 months they're blacked out. At best we should be getting a decent discount for this. Espn and ESPN2 really!!?.

I think this only affects ABC-owned affiliate stations, not all of ABC. The lose of ESPN will impact folks the most.

ABC, out... ESPN, off the air... what a bunch of crap... we pay through the nose for this stuff and suddenly, as you set down to watch Sunday night game, "no access"... contract negotiations... See UTUBE as alternate to stupid DirectTV (why did I leave Xfinity... why!!)....

Any estimate on how long ESPN channels will be shut down? Customer for 29 years and the one thing I watch religiously is the US Open and all I get is a rude message about Disney Negotiations.

All TV providers have this problem so changing is a short term solution.

This is why you are paying through the nose, the content providers and local channels want more money when their contacts expire with the TV providers.
