Nope, the mobile app doesn't support casting/streaming to any device.

Probably not. Connecting to a projector is essentially the same as connecting to a tv and the Directv app does not support that.

DirecTV's business model is you pay for each TV on the service. The DirecTV app is for use on the mobile device (smart phone/tablet) only. As such the app disables screen mirroring/airplay options so that people do not get a free additional TV on the service.
