Why no digital broadcast sub channels on Directv
Directv,
I left Directv because you never started to carried digital broadcast sub channels (antenna, H&I grit Buzz Laff etc)
You still do not.
These channels are the ones I watch most since leaving Directv and in my fringe area are not available through the air.
Stop mailing me offers to Return to directv without them.

They probably never will as they don't have the bandwidth to carry the thousands of sub channels.

You would need to contact DirecTV to opt out of offers. This is a public forum of other customers so we cannot do that for you. Be prepared you are either opted in or out in general, not under specific chosen criteria (such as them carrying or dropping certain channels).
Sub-channels are not expected anytime soon. Too many of them across the country for the available satellite bandwidth. Though DirecTV is in the process of shutting down their outdated MPEG-2 (SD-only) feeds. How much bandwidth that might free up is currently not known.
