Why would they not adopt the guide format that DirectTV had?

Just switched to ATT TV from YTTV with primary reason of getting the Fox Sports now Bally channels. Fully expected to see /get the DirectTV guide which was superior to any other guides and it’s a (Edited per community guidelines).  Why would they not adopt the guide format that DirectTV had?? In the trial period currently and probably will keep for now but the deals are so complicated it doesn’t appear there are opportunities for competition in the near future if want to see your local MLB team’s home games without going through AT&T.

DTV and AT&T TV are separate services so why would they have the same format?

Those are different TV providers, so they don't share the same format. Though they share the same owner, don't go in expecting it all be the same. Do the research and see what the individual service has.

And remember, it is DirecTV, not DirectTV. Just be careful so you don't fall into any scams.
