I just bought a smart tv and have directv through at&t. When I set up my smart tv will my dirctv still work?

All you have to do is connect the HDMI cable to an HDMI port and then change the input/source on the TV to the correct HDMI port.

Your directv will work the same way it did with your old tv. If you are asking is there a directv app for your smart tv, no there is not.

Doesn't matter if it is a "smart" TV or not. They connect the same way.
Plug HDMI cable into TV.
Tune TV to correct input (HDMI-1, HDMI-2, etc.).
Program DirecTV remote to new TV.
If you went to a higher resolution capable TV, such as 720 to 1080 or even going from 480 (SD), then you may need to update resolution and ratio under your display settings on the DirecTV box.
