Are you ever going to fix the pause no audio issue?

Hello?!?!(!?(. I’ve told you wha the problem is.  How difficult is it to fix software and stop causing your customers pain?  I’m in software development and fix things quickly.  This should be no different

pause A show

wait for your dumb screensaver to come on

Wait a few more seconda

unpause the show

no volume

to fix, click info, scroll to audio/video, scroll to English Dolby audio and click it.

Please go fix it!  Customer for 25 years here and this has become  infuriating

We will not fix it because we are customers like you. This is a public community forum, not official support.

If the guidance from other customers and over the phone support do not resolve it, then you could try a BBB complaint. Or if you are so good that you "fix things quickly", then apply for a job with them and share the expertise that you imply is better than what a big company has access to.

Wow. You get awards for attacking fellow customers?   Or is that just a participation trophy?

That claim implies you have technical capability as good or better than AT&T's. If it truly is so easy for you, then it seems it would be appropriate to offer your services to the company and get paid for something you can do quickly over everybody else.

But if such a statement was more bravado, then call AT&T for official support. As mentioned, this is a public forum that is customer to customer, which means we are not the ones to fix it for you. We can try and give guidance but are not doing anything that affects your account.

There was no attack. My post was blunt. And yes, I did point out the fallacy of those kind of statements where the poster makes it sound like their knowledge and capability equals or exceeds a national company, when in truth they have no working knowledge of the inner workings of the equipment or the details of the exact software.

First, there are employees in this forum who try to help customers.

Second, this bug was introduced in their latest software release on 12/14. They know what they did between the release prior and this new release. Something in there caused it. I don’t see how difficult it would be to find the error. So yes…even their entry level developers could find this.    But continue to degrade people in life man…it’ll treat you well

How easy it is to find the error...perhaps you would have a different opinion if you actually worked with their developers on their proprietary software and rules to follow.

If it was so easy, then it is expected to have been fixed by now. Since it hasn't, the logical conclusion is there are challenges that naturally an individual customer wouldn't be privy to.

Not degrading anybody. But the claiming on how easy it is to fix when you don't see what they are dealing with is a claim too far, I think. Those that make such claims, I believe should apply to such companies and actually back up their claims on how they can do it better than the entire company.

My system just started doing this. If I watch live or recorded programs it's takes a second or two after I unpause for the audio to kick back in
