Depends if your 'missing' channels are owned by Nexstar or not. If they are locals, then check DirecTV's official page for carriage negotiation issues. https://www.directv.com/tvpromise/
If confirmed they are Nexstar channels, but the online option still isn't working, then calling is your option.
However, if they are not owned by Nexstar or not even a local channel at all, then more details will be needed to help figure out why the channels aren't working (symptoms, error message, box models, etc.).
The DirecTV message about it being unavailable due to disputes with Nexstar is what shows up when going to the certain channels that are missing. Thank you for replying. Not sure if I will call or not as sometimes being bounced around and being put on hold over and over may not be worth it, lol.
Can absolutely understand the hesitation in calling. To start they have been short staffed since the pandemic and right now with the Nexstar situation there many people calling in (which historically is too many who are yelling at the agents for something out of their control). Waiting on hold through that for $10 (I think that was the current courtesy credit). If it were me, I would only call if there were other things to take care of (such as reducing package).
In general companies take into account all credits/discounts you have had, so perhaps anything you got previously or are currently getting meant your account hit an internal threshold. Might be other internal factors, but that is all I can think of off the top of my head.
In any case, I hope Nexstar doesn't keep up their position for too much longer. But this makes me think maybe we should go back to optional itemized locals so that situations like this, including any resulting price increase, only affects those who get the exact channels.

We are missing channels but when I go to the link for credit, it does not show available for my account. Unsure why.
