Did you get DIRECTV satellite or DIRECTV STREAM? What Android TV specifically?

There are no apps for DTV satellite service except for use on mobile devices like a phone/tablet.

Ok then refer to shannon02’s reply. For every TV you want service on you’ll need to pay for a receiver at $7 per month.

You can only use the DirecTV app (for the satellite service) on a smart phone or tablet. There is no option to use it on a TV.
DirecTV is for a single residence per account. You pay for each authorized TV. It is not built to use streaming to a TV.
