Go into the menu and set a custom favorites list. You can check to only show received channels first (Channels I Get), and then can uncheck any individual channel you might have but don't watch. Most boxes allow you to set up to 2 custom lists. Then when watching, just press INFO, go to FAVORITES and select the custom list you will be using.
