Less games

It’s not our choice, we are customers just like you. Also, DIRECTV STREAM has no control over what is streamed where. They don’t own Peacock or Apple TV. I have to agree with you, but unfortunately, that’s just how the streaming market works these days.

They will have to do something because more and more people will just cancel MLB. This is not what i agreed to when i signed up for Mlb. 

I agree it's unfortunate but Major League Baseball has the right to sell the games to other channels and that's what they are doing. It certainly waters down the value of the MLB package. And there is nothing direcTV can do about it.

Directv Stream has nothing to do with MLB's decision to stream somewhere else.

Also, the games on Apple tv are free. U don't need a paid subscription. All you have to do is signup for an apple tv id/password. 

If enough people cancel DTV Mlb will feel the pinch. I here what you are saying but everyone is just passing the buck. I shouldn't have to stream anything.  That was not what i agreed on. I have been a Dtv coustomer for 25+ years. I have already canceled NFL Sunday ticket. 

Directv Stream has RSN"s I watch my Cardinals games just fine on Bally Sports Midwest. If I have to watch a few games every season on Apple tv for free---whoop-de-doo.

And again--Directv Stream has nothing to do with MLB's decision to stream a FEW games a year on other streaming services. Yep--a few. 

Apple tv shouldn't even be apart of the equation.  My older tv can't download apps. My Android phone is maxed out on apps.

What do you suggest i would do now to watch a game tomorrow on apple streaming?

TV providers (DirecTV, DIRECTV STREAM, etc.) did not make this choice. MLB arranged to sell off some games to another provider. Certainly there are people who will have issue with it. But understand this was not the fault nor responsibility of DirecTV for this decision.

Streaming devices may be more common, but there are those of us who's internet is not good or stable enough to rely on for their sole TV provider. And with the usage shift since the pandemic, the residential/personal infrastructure got hit rather hard. That would need to be addressed nationwide to improve stability, increase minimum baseline for download and upload (not just pushing the max for special areas), and to increase reach to the rural areas before internet can be relied upon so strongly.

The MLB sets the price for Extra Innings DTV only collects it and sends it to them of course minus their handling fee.

Read the TOS that states channels and programing can change at anytime.
