Local ABC channel still not available
I have not been able to watch any ABC programming for months now. I am very frustrated by this. Please resolve ASAP !

What market are you in? The channel owners keep demanding more money from content providers from directv, which causes negotiations and channels being dropped by the owner. If directv was submissive to this, customer’s bills would skyrocket, making things crazy. I doubt you would want your bill to increase over one singular channel.
I suggest you contact ABC and let them know you’d like to see them reach an agreement asap with directv.

I am in the 62454 market. The greedy (Edited per community guidelines)s need to come to some sort of agreement. I've contacted both parties in the past.

And this is not ABCs or Directv's doing, it's your local affiliate demanding more money.

Your channel is a local affiliate (WAWV) of ABC, not ABC itself. That station is owned by Mission Broadcasting. They are in negotiations with DirecTV. It will be ongoing until the two come to an agreement.

In the meantime, try a regular antenna to pull up all the free channels within range. After all, why should TV providers and us customers continually pay more and more for channels that are free over the regular airways?

I am paying for A certain # of channels that I'm not getting... I watch these channels on A daily basis and direct tv wants to just knock $10 off our bill... no way all the other channels are show repeats I'm missing out on alot of shows that I have already got interested in.... If I have to go another week this customer is canceling my service sorry not sorry...

DTV has no control over a channels programing. All TV providers have this problem with renewing their contracts so changing providers is a short term fix.
