You were lucky it was still working on Android 5.1. It has listed 6.0 as a minimum requirement for a while, and checking today show 7.0.

Sorry comes down to your phone has become outdated as far as the OS goes. As of last year Android is up to SW version 11.

Understand the frustration. My phone only updated to 6.0, though all other carriers with it got 7.0 (similar to yours on 5.1 where another provider that has it released 6.0 for it).

Make sure you are streaming from a compatible device like the ones listed below:

• iPhone® SE or later running iOS 11 or above
• iPad® Air2 or later running iOS 11 or above
• Any phone or tablet running Android® 6.0 API 23 software or above

Thanks to everyone who replied on the Alcatel 4060A DirecTv question.  I contacted the Alcatel group and the Android version of the phone cannot be upgraded any higher.  At least now we know for certain.

My next issue is this.  My recorder app on my Samsung Galaxy S4 worked gr8 when recording both sides of a conversation.  I know have a Samsung Galaxy S8 and it no longer works due to the new software restrictions from google.  I hate, hate, hate, this because I used it in conversations for business or when I needed to copy information to be reused and or copied to forms.  Has this situation changed with any of the newer Samsung phones?  Is there any thing I can do to resolve this issue?  The recorder apps that I have used only record my side of the conversation.  What a pain this is.  Thanks guys!
