No Local Channels

@Dmerrill48 the local channels you receive with the DIRECTV app is based on the ZIP code or original location of your network’s provider. If there are no local channels for the market you are currently in, you will not receive them.

However, you can still enjoy the live content by getting the local channel’s app, depending on if it is offered or not. From there, you use TV EVERYWHERE and sign in with your DIRECTV credentials.

I do not get any local channels at all, none!!! 

@Dmerrill48 then you must use the local channel app (i.e. the CBS app) 

Unfortunately, as this is a public forum, the most we can do is give you a possible solution. We can’t go as far as to remotely change the local channels you will receive via the app. Your best bet is downloading the network’s app on your iPhone’s App Store.

If local channels are not available via the DirecTV app, then try the individual network's app. Otherwise you will just have to accept that locals are not available remotely.

There is no guarantee that every channel will always (or ever) be available through the app. DirecTV is satellite service for the residence. Mobile options are limited.

Not all local channels are available to stream, in fact I suspect only major market local channels are available. I live in the St Louis market, none of my locals are available to stream. However, when I travel to Chicago, their local channels are available.
