On demand says not available. Please help.
So I had DirecTV installed yesterday morning. Still no on demand. Just says not available no matter what on demand channel I click on. Can’t even check for kids shows or tv shows or movies. My HS17 is connected directly to my gigabit internet and it shows I’m connected. I chatted with DirecTV who resent my signals and had me unplug my HS17 twice. Said in 2-3 hours it would work. Still no go. Any advice?

You dumped the guide data by rebooting twice within 30 minutes so now it will take another 24 to 48 hours to download.

It can take two or three days for a new system to get access to on demand. Just have patience!

Usually On Demand has the bulk ready within 24 hours of being connected to internet. Though it has known in some cases to take up to 48hrs.
Rebooting twice within 30 minutes, or unplugging power for at least a minute, results in guide data dumped. This restarts the time.
Make sure you are not connected to a internet service that is metered/data capped. Otherwise you have high risk of eating through your data allowance.

Glad it is working.
One final note. Some content you get from On Demand will disable your ability to FF/REW. This is because some of the networks treat this just like if you were on their individual website where they do not allow you to avoid commercials. Unfortunately more networks have been doing this so just wanted to give you a heads up.
