Recordings Disappearing
Hey folks, I've been using DIRECTV for a while now and I'm having an issue with my scheduled recordings. It seems like they're disappearing randomly without any warning. Has anyone else experienced this problem and found a solution? It's frustrating to miss out on shows I was looking forward to recording. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

They will expire after 9 months, that’s for sure. However, if recordings simply disappear during/after recording, it could mean that the program you wanted to record is no longer available (programming issue), the scheduler had an issue, etc. What streaming device are you using?

Is your issue with DirecTV (satellite) or DIRECTV STREAM (streaming-only). Just making sure as you posted in the satellite forum, but you have another thread that mentions DIRECTV STREAM. Not impossible to have both, but would not be common.
