TBD Channel

Not sure I follow your question ....

"TBD channel"?  What's "FIX"? What exactly are you seeing and where? When did the problem start?  What model equipment do you have?

TBD is a channel. It's taken over FOX programming all day until prime time. After that is goes back to TBD channel programming. My equipment is totally irrelevant but I believe HR23-100

DTV has no control over what a channel sends them.

Model number is normally requested because not all boxes have the same options to go through. It is basic info for troubleshooting, so in general is considered relevant. Especially as updates may not be intended for older models which might have caused a conflict. Thankfully the HR23 is not very old, just a couple generations behind.

If you are seeing TBD in the Guide, well that should mean "To Be Determined" so the guide info is not updated. As this is the only channel you are experiencing the issue with, likely the problem is with the guide info either by the channel owner (whatever affiliate runs the FOX station where you live) or the 3rd party they upload it to (which then sends bulk guide data for multiple channels to the TV providers).

In case the issue is on the equipment side:

Verify coax is finger tight.

Try a red button reset.

Unplug power for at least a minute, but be aware this will dump all guide data so will have to download again from the satellites. Usually completed within 24 hours or so.

Though the forum official help team posted, they are a small team so cannot respond to every single post. So in any other case, you call DirecTV as that is how they are setup (regardless if you like calling them or not).

It's the programming,  not the guide. Guide shows normal Fox programming schedule, but airing is a Sinclair network called TBD (I realize it sounds confusing). This TBD network has been airing on my Fox local channel all day since yesterday morning. Prime time shows are correct and then back to this network. DirecTV doesn't even carry the network. I don't think it's local as there's a different issue with CBS. Their ads aren't working during prime time. Just shows we're experiencing difficulties. ONLY happens during ads.

It must be @litzdog911 Kfox in El Paso is owned by Sinclair. So is TBD. I noticed late night Monday that local CBS was Charge, another Sinclair channel in El Paso. What a mess!

Let's try to troubleshoot your main receiver to resynchronize the information.  Please, make sure your device is properly plugged to your TV. Finally, share with us your ZIP code if this situation persists.

Sinclair has been hacked (ransomware??)and many of their stations are off the air or are showing programming that is completely different frommthe guide. Nothing you or Directv can do about this!

In my area too outside of Flint Mi. NBC also showing Charge channel.

Someone explain please why NBC keeps going back & forth between normal daytime programming & Charge channel programs!!! Driving me nuts!

Because Sinclair's computers got hacked and it's messing up their stations' programming.
