Tuner recording
I keep getting this page on my tv "All tuners are recording or watching TV. To tune to 264 BBCAHD, select an option below." Options: FR/Live TV - not avail, and it won't let me tune into my channels.

I keep getting this page on my tv "All tuners are recording or watching TV. To tune to 264 BBCAHD, select an option below." Options: FR/Live TV - not avail, and it won't let me tune into my channels.

What is the model of your DIRECTV receiver? You are getting this error because all of the receiver’s tuners are currently being used on recording, Genie clients, or PiP feature.

That message means all tuners in use. They are used to watch TV, record, or in the case of the regular Genie line for Picture in Picture (PiP) on the main box. Mini Genies are Clients, not receivers, meaning they have no tuners of their own so have to each take one from the main box to watch TV.
So check all recordings and what is being watched. If it still seems there should be a tuner (or more) still available, try a red button reset on the boxes.
