@REJZERRN

If you have a service agreement, then you have DirecTV (satellite). This is the DIRECTV STREAM forum (streaming-only), a service which has no service agreement and is just month to month.

I would suggest posting in the DirecTV forum if you are having service issues and other users can try to help. And if it comes to it, you are not forced to stay. You just pay an ECF based on how much time you have left on your agreement ($20 for each month remaining).

The only reason I'm trying DirecTv is because U-Verse just went up significantly. If this one is going to push $200 in a couple of years, I'll just leave now.

No one knows what the future holds. But you can bet that all others will increase also.

There is a big fight coming-up and it's going to be between the Broadcasters(suppliers) and the Distributors(Sellers). The broadcasters have reached a point where they are just getting too greedy. The general public has reached a limit. The next generation don't care that much about TV, you can see it in the dropping of ratings of all the add on channels. The major broadcasters ABC,NBC, CBS, and Fox. They are truly worried.The only time they get High ratings is mainly on Big Sporting events. The next generation are not as big of sports fans.

I look to see the distributors start dropping add on channels and big fights with major broadcasters for rights to carry their signal. There may come a time when you will have to have a antenna or pay a extra fee just for locals.

The next 3-years are not going to be good times for any side, so get ready for a wild ride.
