DirecTV cancelling Newsmax
I am a 12 year subscriber to DirecTV & have had AT&T cell service for 15 years. I am EXTREMELY disappointed that DirecTV is cancelling Newsmax—the last (Edited per community guidelines) news channel. If this is not resolved with Newsmax being restored I will be cancelling my subscriptions.

CONSTRUCTIVE ....... ATT Employee This is for you from my original post which mysteriously has been closed and I cannot respond to any longer. I am a Constitutional Scholar. I will gladly school you on the Constitution whenever you would like. I understand it completely. So try to use another excuse here.

This is in response to your comment on my original post, which mysteriously has been closed and I cannot comment on any longer. ATT is paying more for (Edited per community guidelines) stations than Newsmax, so your comment about how Newsmax was charging too much makes no sense.

How is the government censoring NewsMax employees for being critical of the government?
According to some of you, I should be able to wear a shirt featuring a naked Pamela Anderson into an elementary school because "freedom of speech."

DirecTV canceled two (Edited per community guidelines) News channels in one year. Newsmax was the 4th watched news channel on their lineup, now there is only (Edited per community guidelines) news channels left. I have already canceled my DirecTV and will cancel my cell service as soon as I find who covers my area well. I am very disappointed with AT&T I have been with them for years, this censorship of (Edited per community guidelines) voices is really over the top and unamerican.

You are clearly a (Edited per community guidelines) and making this political when it’s about basic rights. The media is trying to silence over half of the country. Now ATT has joined them.

Why are you woke folks removing (Edited per community guidelines) news channels like OANN and Newsmax? I have the U450, fiber internet, home phone and two cell phones. I've considered looking for a different provider in the past. Now, I'm actively pursuing this search. You want to go woke, you can go broke. I'm also gonna campaign against your wokeness on all my social media pages and groups which are numerous. Why can't you people just provide a service and leave your commie tendencies out of it? Communism and socialism are mental disorders or worse, evil. We, THE PEOPLE, pay you to provide a service, not to impose your bat guano crazy censorship on us. I didn't fight in Iraq and end up with 80% disability for you tyrants to oppress me here in the USA. It isn't the USSA yet and I'm fighting that every inch of the way. Hopefully none of you believe in (Edited per community guidelines) because one day you'll have to answer for your evilness. At least until then, your ignorance will be bliss.

I too am shopping for a new phone provider for myself and family members. Total monthly cost between the two: $700+ for 7 lines.
bye bye

Nice try, but it's not censorship.
The first amendment clearly states: "Congress shall make no law..."
And they haven't.
Nice try, snowflake.

I just upgraded 3 phones with ATT. I will pay whatever the cost is to switch, I almost switched anyway and decided to stay. I wish this information came out sooner. It's a shame, ATT has been such an iconic leader for so long in this country. But if they have joined the (Edited per community guidelines) social woke agenda, they can go operate in China. So long! And I have 5 phone lines, two internet lines, approx. $600/month.

Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.

The "fee" that gets paid out to these networks from DirectTV cannot be the real reason, because they are still paying these fees to the many (failing) 'opposite of right' leaning news channels. It just doesn't make sense to me that Newsmax would get dropped because their ratings are higher than all of the other "news" channels that lean left. This can only mean one thing in my eyes. They wanted Newsmax off the air because they don't like the mean words they hear on it. Grow some bells and have just a sliver of respect for yourselves. It makes you look weak and scared with the sneaking around about it and the lies. Wont ever see another penny from me! Stock price is looking a little sad now, and even though I don't work for you, I can fix it for you. Bring Newsmax back, and cut a few of the countless opinion based shows instead.

OAN was canceled, now NewsMax! What are you communists? Give us back NewsMax and OAN. We are considering leaving ATT for this. It matters.
