Loss of channels
AT&T has failed to properly prepare for the anticipated end of contract negotiation with Nexstar - resulting in the loss of ABC station, a MAJOR network. This continues to happen, as in the past, when other channels were removed from the lineup - as your customers continue to pay increased costs in service. We set up another TV(purchased an antennae) that would give us this basic channel for the interim - assuming we will get the channel back at some time in the future! I think it's time to contact other providers who can provide continuing service that we PAY for and don't get with AT&T.

You have until the end of today Friday July 5 2019 to turn our channel 32 Ktab in Abilene on or you will have the wrath of ALL DirecTV and ATT Customers.We have been one for 20 years so help me God We will go to Dish on Monday and I will go to Verizon.You are full of it blaming others

I want my local CBS station back. How do I get a local channel connector so I can try to get it over the air while the "negotiating" parties fight it out?

You need to get Channel 10 back on the line-up. I am giving you til Monday July 8th, and if not back, come and take your crap out of my house and I will go to DISH!!!!!!! Long time customer...….. GONE!!!! LOCAL NEWS!!!!

First NBC and Now CBS. This is the progress we have been promised. Praying that Comcast will arrive in our area in the next 2 years.

If your channel 10 is ABC, then Nexstar is the problem.

This is not a local station problem. This is a NEXSTAR problem. They own the rights for any rebroadcast and they are trying to raise the cost to AT&T. If this happens, AT&T will most likely have to raise your "Broadcast Fee" which is already over $5. Nexstar is trying to improve the "bottom line" even after having had record earnings.
NEXSTAR is the bad guy in this process!

DirecTV cannot force the local affiliate to return the channel. If it is Nexstar, well good luck as they are really pushing for higher rates: https://tvpromise.att.com/
They will not have the wrath of ALL customers as there are people who can survive without a local for awhile. Even the owner of your local affiliate is not in every state.

Tell that to the owner of your local affiliate as DirecTV cannot force them to return the feed: https://tvpromise.att.com/
Or tell your local affiliate you will pay for the increase yourself instead of the rest of us to get it back sooner
DirecTV will not come to take anything out of your house. If you choose to cancel, then receiver/client boxes are shipped back.
And will you drop Dish when this happens to them?

Due to your contract dispute with Nexstar our channel choices have been reduced from 9 channels to 7 channels. A 33% reduction! Can we expect to see a 33% reduction in our AT& T U-Verse bill? Your contract dispute with Nexstar is not our fault. So why should we pay for your problems with Nexstar?

Don't mess with old people. The older we get, the less "Life in Prison" is a deterrent.
