NBC, WTHR, CBS - September Contract Negotiation

Why was NBC dropped from the channel lineup? This is a major network that I watch frequently. I am not happy about this change and don't remember receiving any notification of this change.

When will WRAL (local TV station-Raleigh) return back to the U-Verse lineup? The ATT link: att.com/fightingforyou does not work. I pay for this station yet I do not receive due to a difference over fees. So the customer (again) gets hurt. I will cancel my service if there is no resolution. Greedy companies: ATT and CAPITOL BROADCASTING.

Unfortunately, no one here is privileged to know what is going on behind closed doors.

I am SO ANGRY at AT&T for not getting CBS back on the channel lineup! Since you don't have it on Direct TV, I don't see you going to bat for your subscribers of Uverse! I used to recommend Uverse. Don't know if I can or will continue to do that!

You can still stream NBC and Fox on their respective websites.

Disappointed work ATT uverse. Also leaving to go with live steaming and other options. For the money, they are just bullying us trying to say it's about costs yet this is quite false. Fire the CEO and those with lined pickets! My gosh, we just want to watch TV and already are paying ridiculous fees. See ya!

The owner of the channel wants more money. AT&T doesn't want to pay a lot more for something which the channel owner admits can be viewed for free with an antenna.

We have ourselves a predicament. Does AT&T pay significantly more for something their viewers can have for free?

I am outraged that I still cannot watch WRAL on my TV.  When is this problem going to be resolved? Also, I would like a rebate for every day that I can not watch this channel.

This is getting ridiculous. Att uverse is not the best service provider the service is forever going out when it rains or their is high winds in my area. Also they are not good with customer service. Now this with WRAL is past disapproval. Work out your problems another way instead of punishing the viewers.

Your response didnt answer the question.  Could you either give some type of update for restoral of service (NBC), or what the dispute is centered on?

I really thought this would of been fixed before the NFL season began or shortly after week 1.  Especially with WBNS showing the Browns/Steelers game in Week 1.  I feel for the bar owners in this mess, as EVERY bar I know of, has DirecTV.  I think WBNS' only saving grace if you will, is that they have not had any Buckeye games scheduled to air, lol.

I am right there with you about this issue. I pay 45 dollars a month for HD DVR and basic cable to watch what??? Those local 5 channels that i am now down to 4. So i guess i will do what they throwing a hissy for about. Time to go to a HD Antenna and Tivo, where after so many months of not paying ATT, it pays for itself and then free sailing from there.

What you lose in the ability to DVR network programming. Use of an antenna means you can't time shift

FYI,  dvr's for OTA do exist.
