I got a flyer for free upgrade to Genie. Does it just plug into my existing configuration or does it require other 'upgrades / changes' to my hardware and connection?

My LG TV model 65UT7570PUB has HDR and ROKU ultra has no problem to show HDR on it. But Gemini fails on HDR test for the tv. I can see sometimes when watching , HDR logo pops up and then disappears.

I have the genie remote RC73 and a Denon receiver AVR-S960H. When changing channels or pressing the Select/Exit/Info buttons the volume goes up or down on its own. I tried programming a new remote to my Samsung TV and Denon receiver but no luck, still having the same problem

Can the Genie 2 tower be put in a room without a TV, or does it have to be in the same room as a TV?
