DIRECTV dropping OANN?
How could you bow down to the WOK cancel culture demands to dropping OANN? They do not lie! The "big lie of the 2020 election" is absolutely true. There is mountains of evidence of the election steal. All the misinformation comes from liberals not conservatives! My husband and I will be dropping Directv if you go thru this in April. I will convince all our friends and family to do likewise. This is an attack on freedom of speech and our country. Shame on you!!!!

THE main reason we took out an account with DIRECTV (back then AT&T) was to be able to watch OAN. Why would you cancel them? Do you have any idea how difficult it is to actually find out what is going on in our country with all of the misinformation coming from CNN, MSNBC, ABC, etc?!!! You are making a serious error. FREE SPEECH is part of our American Bill of Rights. Why would you plan to shut down the BEST news organization out there? When and if you do, we will be canceling our subscription. Please rethink this marxist decision coming from your leadership!

Let it be known that my family stands side by side with the people here that will leave your service if you cancel OAN. Time for people to stand up for what they believe in. You cave to cancel culture.... You lose loyal customers! I'll make certain to pass the word to every person I know! If you go through with this you're as pathetic as all the other WOKE individuals that are tearing this country apart. Bad move. 🙄

Once again a (Edited per community guidelines) channel is on the chopping block. Businesses that cave to the cancel culture mentality are making a grave mistake….so Directv had better think long and hard before making such a misstep!

Greetings,
My name is William and I'm a current AT&T and DirevtTv subscriber. I have recently learned that AT&T has chosen to not support One American News Network on DirectTv. From my understanding this was a political decision due to the content of the network and not due to a lack of viewership or cost. If OANN is dropped from DirectTV I intend to drop both my phone lines and DirectTv subscription. There are other carriers who carry the station. I know my $200 plus a month won't break AT&T or DirectTv but I know several others with the same intensions. Also, from seeing the other people posting on here I am not alone.
Please reconsider your decision as I enjoy both AT&T and DirectTv services and would like to remain a customer. Should you not decide to reverse your current decision, we will be forced to part ways.
Thank you for your consideration,
William

What is the purpose for removing OAN in the near future? I'm inclined to change providers to keep access to OAN.

Is AT&T dropping OAN on Directv "satellite" or on the new DirectTV Streaming? I don't know how ANYONE can know what is what in the support forums between these two very different services when they both have the same name!
My AT&T U-verse is reportedly going away and they've been trying to talk me into moving to Directv Streaming every time I walk into a Walmart. That will NOT even be a considered option if they are dropping One America News based on leftist bullying and censorship.

I hear Direct TV is cancelling OAN news in April. So sad that ATT is bowing to the woke and not allow this amazing (Edited per community guidelines) network to be seen by the millions who watch it to get a different perspective on politics. I will be cancelling my subscription when this happens.

You are absolutely correct!! SO DISAPPOINTED that Directv is dropping the only station that tells the truth about what is going on in this country. I feel AT&T and Directv are contributing to the demise of our republic by denying their customers this wonderful, honest, and trustworthy network. We will definitely be dropping their services.

agree with you 100% OANN is the only network that tells the truth about what is going on in our country. Directv and AT&T are contributing to the collapse of our republic.

I just spoke with Direct TV Customer Service & she also confirmed that they are dropping OANN. If Direct TV doesn’t change their minds, we will cancel as well! It is shameful that this company has decided to make this political! Thank you Senator Rand Paul for canceling your subscription as well!!!

SO DISAPPOINTED in your decision to drop OANN! This is the only network that tells us the truth about what is going on in this country, and for you to drop it is anti-American. Shame on you!

I just spoke with Direct TV as well and the Customer Service Rep also confirmed this to me. She stated this will happen in April. I asked her to communicate to her supervisors that if they don’t change their minds, we will cancel our subscription as well! I want to thank Senator Rand Paul for also agreeing to cancel as well. It is very sad and disappointing Direct TV doing this!!!

But is AT&T dropping it on both Directv satellite service and also on Directv Streaming? I detest the idea of cancelling OAN on either platform based on political bullying and cancel culture, but it sure would be helpful if they would differentiate between the two service offerings which are supported on two distinctly different transmission protocols and are two distinctly different product offerings!
One is a satellite service, the other is a streaming service over an internet connection, and both have completely different licensing agreements. (The person who decided to name them the same thing is not very bright.)
Could we PLEASE get some customer requested clarification from AT&T?
