DIRECTV dropping OANN?

My sources are telling me that Direct TV is preparing to drop the programming for OANN, One America News Network. As a person who uses this channel as much as any for news, I must tell you that if you proceed with this plan, that I will be forced to drop your service. I like your service but obviously I have choices and if you are trying to silence a voice that many of us appreciate, then I will be forced to seek a different provider. Please take this under advisory as I'd sincerely like to not have to change.

I am probably going to cancel my service if DirectTv chooses to drop the OAN news channel. Does anyone know if this is true? And if so, anyone else going to do the same? All opinions appreciated.

I've been a paying customer since 1995. DTV drops OAN ,I'm cutting the cord. This just plain (Edited per community guidelines) censorship & it's WRONG !

ATT is dropping OANN, but still provides far-left FSTV, not to mention Chinese and Russian (Edited per community guidelines) masquerading as "news".

I've been a customer since the very beginning of DTV, and pay $255.60 per month just for my home service.  I'm dropping not only my home service, but also at my place of business.  I'm also going to replace all my ATT work phones with Verizon phones.  Well done, ATT. 

I'm no fanboy of OAN or MSNBC, but I'll not pay a supposedly American company to silence American voices while still carrying foreign channels.  Good luck with that.

How can you discontinue OANN!!!!  Do you realize or even care about how many hardworking regular American citizens appreciate having access to OANN, but I guess the radical left is more important that the millions of regular citizens in the fly over part of the country.  

My wife and I have enjoyed DirecTv and AT&T for over some twenty years and now as of this weekend you have allowed companies which do not influence the telling of the truth to deny One American News a renewed contract at the end of April 2022.   We are disgusted with your proposal to eliminate this fine channel promoting the truth in our nation.  We urgently ask you to reinstate OAN's contract.  Thank you.

To be a communication company DIRECTV has made it all but inaccessible to communicate with customers it seems. I like One America News. I believe WOKENESS STRIKES AGAIN and Direct/AT&T folded like a cheap seat to WOKE. I have been a long time customer but Any company that does not take off CNN and MSNBC two ultra biased ultra Left  networks but takes off AON to bow to WOKE and Biden's ridiculous censorship demands does not get my business. AT&T has become the pits service wise and they are taking DIRECT in that direction as well.

I will be looking elsewhere. My contract expired a long time ago. I do not do business with WOKE. It is disgusting that they cancel AON and not cancel very ultra left wing (Edited per community guidelines) CNN and MSNBC. AT&T DIRECTV IS A WOKE JOKE.

My family was looking for an excuse to drop DirecTV in order to sign up for Dish TV anyway, as Dish TV has RAV or Real America's Voice, whereas DirecTV does NOT!  Go woke, GO BROKE!  We have CANCELLED DirecTV, and at the end of this present billing cycle, Dish TV will be installed, and DirecTV sent PACKING!  BUH BYES!  Enjoy being WOKE AND BROKE AT&T, we will NOT be utilizing your communist communications corporations any longer.  One Fingered Salute at ya!  From a Retired Naval Officer and family!  

I have kept Directv the last several years and not changed to Dish TV to save money because Dish TV did not have OAN. If OAN is dropped, then no difference between the two for us.

DirecTV, DIRECTV STREAM, or any other TV provider is not required to give you OANN. Sure, they carry it through the end of the current carriage agreement, but they don't have to renew it. And they have chosen not to renew it per the public announcement.

You want to watch OANN, then you must do so somewhere else. This is the same answer no matter your left/right affiliation, religious rantings, or current/former military service (naval family or not, you have the same voice as everyone else as DD214 doesn't affect what channels a TV provider carries). Bottom line it is DirecTV's decision to not negotiate a new agreement with OANN.

We are still on DirecTV at least until April. Is the management at AT&T reconsidering their decision not to negotiate a new contract with Herring? Our personal decision still stands...if OAN is dropped...we are dropping DirecTV.
