DIRECTV dropping OANN?

These 2 channels are the only reason we stayed in DirecTV. Now, we plan to cancel DirecTV by April because of this. I hope the people who decided to cancel OAN and AWE are now bowing down to the left and have a very good reason.

The decision to remove the news channel OAN smacks of censorship.  I  rely on OAN to give me a different viewpoint than the leftist news channels like CNN.  Some of the Leftist officials in Directv think this is a way to squelch the right wing viewpoints and their motivations are all too obvious.  This laundering of our news channels is no service to your viewers.  Their is nothing inflamatory about the OAN broadcasts and it is presented in a professional manner.  Please reconsider the removal of this alternative news source.

Are you guys canceling One American News.  If so when? If this is for real, I  will be canceling my DirecTV.

they have said that OANN has been spreading misinformation about covid and the election 
first off no information is 100 percent on any of the networks about covid or the election and cnn has spread the russia collusion hoax for 2.5 years without any evidence what so ever.  and they just had 2 producers get in trouble for underage (Edited per community guidelines) scandals' john griffin and rick saleeby. and they fired cuomo for being corrupt and they still employ jeffrey toobin that got caught masterbaiting on a video conference call. toobin is their legal analyst for pete sakes!  if they get rid of OANN they must get rid of CNN also

I want to know why you will not be renewing the contract for the news channel OAN. There needs to be more objective/news stations being offered and OAN is one of them. I am very upset with Directv for doing this and I am considering canceling my subscription.

My family and I have been using directv since my last deployment (for a few years now). Removing OAN is a direct blow to the constitutional freedoms I have helped preserve. Just because you don’t agree with what is being said does not give someone the right to censor them or remove their voice completely. Even though I don’t agree with CNN or MSNBC I still watch their reports now and then, and they have had several employees arrested for criminal activity.  Yet you have not dropped them. If you remove OAN I will cancel my subscription and tell anyone I know not to subscribe to your services due to your one sided and biased business model. 

I agee..probably need to drop them sooner than April.  Is not just freedom of speech, OAN gives us all the facts and let us decide.   CNN  tell half the truth. Like unemployment is down...I know it went down some cuz of Covid mandates.  🤦‍♀️

If AT&T drops OAN, then I (though I have only been on AT&T for a few months), I think it is time to drop DirectTV Stream. I was enjoying it, but if I cannot chose what I want to watch, then I will not be forced to watch what I don't want to. I think it is funny that, just because the clown in the White House doesn't like what someone is saying, does not mean it is "misinformation". We can speak with our wallets and make sure that when these companies continue to try and force their opinion on us, we can turn them off and spend our money on what we want.

Why is Direct TV removing the OAN from my channel line-up? 

Are you aware AT&T is removing OAN News Channel from its DirectTV channel list?

DTV has the right to program as they want but we have the right to pay for only the programing we want or believe in. Hence, our choice to drop DTV for their programing change.

Regarding dropping them before April, I’d wait. We should drop them in April (DirecTV and if you use ATT, them too!) 

If hundreds, hopefully thousands drop accounts in April it might make a difference if correlated to OAN being dropped. Some “woke” butt heads at the top might be willing to forego profit in order to censor programming they feel goes against their communist ways.

The sad part of calling to complain is that you’ll get someone from India or the Philippines that will likely do nothing and could probably care less.

Also cancelled DIRECTV. May their stock join Twitters. Woke bias and censorship. Sell your product without the ideology. Woke will go broke.
