DIRECTV dropping OANN?
How could you bow down to the WOK cancel culture demands to dropping OANN? They do not lie! The "big lie of the 2020 election" is absolutely true. There is mountains of evidence of the election steal. All the misinformation comes from liberals not conservatives! My husband and I will be dropping Directv if you go thru this in April. I will convince all our friends and family to do likewise. This is an attack on freedom of speech and our country. Shame on you!!!!

@canceled
After 75 onetime password emails from vutv, I got one to work. I can now log into my webpage but this credential does not work for the support page. I havenot tried to log into vutv on my streaming devices because I didnot get off their webpage yet.

When you sign up you will get two sets of 9 digit numbers. when registering using a PIN use the user information (the box to the left).
the first number is a 3 digit like 214. then the next is the numbers that are emailed to you

@ahwhite You, perhaps intentionally, misunderstand my post. I pay for Fox with my DirecTV subscription, just as you pay for CNN and MSNBC. What I want is for Fox to be be paid for only by people who want to watch it. If that means that I pay separately for MSNBC, so be it. I’m willing to do that. I have no interest in telling you what to watch or think for that matter. I just don’t want to line the pockets of Tucker, Laura, or Sean.

I am currently a customer of DIRECTV and I am very upset about DIRECTV not going to have OAN on their menu. This is a shame that we no longer have freedom of speech in America. If you go ahead and cancel ONE American News I will be canceling my subscription also. I will tell everyone I see you cancel DIRECTV.

We are right there with you! We will be cancelling Direct TV. The only reason we are still with this high priced service, is that they have OAN and News Max. I hope everyone follows suit when this happens.

I have been a happy DirecTV customer for over 20 years but wish you would be more balanced with your politics. Can you tell me when you are dropping OANN so I can drop my DirecTV?

I understand in April, Direct Tv will be dropping OANN from the Direct Tv programming schedule. As a long time direct tv and att customer, I strongly object to the cancel cultures "awokeness" in pressuring Att to drop that programming from it's lineup. If ATT does insist in dropping that programming, then in April I will dropping my Direct Tv account of over 20 years and my 2 ATT accounts of the same time longevity. I do not believe that big teck has the right to cancel programming just because it doesnt agree with what is being broadcast. The only two stations that broadcast the actual news and not what the news director wants us to see, are OANN and NewsMax tv. So OANN is cancelled in April, how much longer will it be before NewsMax is gone.

Same here and we've been loyal customers for almost 20 years.
Do you know what playing fair verses stealing is? Even understand the difference?
When the only way democrats can win id by playing unfair that meand you havent won at all.
And you direct tv are going ti be thr biggest loosers of all.
You have no idea just how many customers you are going to loose if you do not renew with OANN.
Its a shame but shows your butts. You know you cant win without playing dirty!

@Juniper How would you like it if the tides were reversed and DIRECTV canceled CNN, MSNBC, or any other left leaning station.
Take the blinders off man. The decision was political.

If the tides were reversed my feelings would be exactly the same. It matters not their reason as it is their right in the end. Be it CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, or any other news station, I have no more attachment than I do OANN.
People are understandably upset. But DirecTV made a decision that was theirs to make. So each of us makes our own decisions based on that. It is only "blinders on" if you don't see that.

Read the letter posted here on page 72 headlined Eshoo/McNerney.
Yes, you're right, Newsmax is more than likely next.

I was on the phone yesterday with a DirecTV agent. The only thing I was informed was that they are in negotiations for the contract and will know more soon. I will keep it until they drop it. I have been setting up all my systems with Firestick and VUTV+. Just being proactive and prepared either way. I have been checking on all the channels I usually watch and have them all set up for any disruptions.

We have had a Roku device for a couple of years but don't use it much.
We're getting a Firestick soon.
