OAN Channel

Are you going to keep OAN? If not, I will drop ATT.  And takes hours to get anyone online. I dropped ATT internet due to poor service and continual buffering. I had buffering on some days at least 6 times. Other days 2. But hardly a day goes by that I do not have an internet buffering issue. Finally dropped it. Have your competitor and far less buffering. Had once and have had the service now for 2 months. I used both att and your competitor at same time. Didn't drop until I knew att was the problem. It was. Now the direct stream. Dropping channels I watch. Takes away any reason to have it. And att did not honor the $200 in debit cards that arrived AFTER the expiration date.  Not a credible organization.

DirecTV is not keeping OAN. Time to search for another provider if that's a show-stopper for you.

I have been a DirecTV customer for `5-20 years.  I am very disturbed DirecTV is removing the OAN channel.  I watch this channel 90% of the time.  Please keep OAN on DirecTV!

Seems litzdog911 is insensitive to our concerns to Woke-ism at AT&T.

Well I'm sensitive to left-ism attitudes.

jmcon must be a low tech toolbag. DTV Stream rocks. It’s virtual DDR is very reliable and the app works great. If you have buffering issues toolbag, go check your low speed internet connection. As far as dropping channels, good for them for dropping channels with no moral responsibility to this country.

Our household feels the same way.  Get rid of OANN and you get rid of us.

We are a 15+ year AT&T customer and now you will be losing our TV subscription, our Internet and our Cell phone.  I hope it's worth it.

Let's see how that works for you.  Not only are you losing a customer, we are going to be switching to your competition.

You are not listening to your customers OR watching the ratings OAN gets.

I encourage everyone to make your voices heard.  A service technician told me they are required to log calls and complaints.  Flood them with our voice and displeasure at losing OAN!

Re. My displeasure with DirecTV removing the OAN channel:

I ‘chatted’ with a DirecTV customer rep, he told me they have getting a lot of contacts regarding this issue and they are being told DirecTV is still negotiating with OAN.  I told him I hope so but doubt it is truthful.  I requested he forward my displeasure to his supervisor chain plus forward up the chain to those who are making decisions.  He said he would.  Plus he referred me to this forum so I could post my concern here, said DirecTV management monitors this forum.
I also called DirecTV, and expressed same frustration.  This rep also stated they have been getting lots of calls like mine.  He also stated they are told to tell us DirecTV is still negotiating with OAN.

Maybe if enough of us chat, call, post on this forum it will help?  Doubt it, but worth a shot!

@RXRX

We are departing snowflakes, too.

The Retention/Loyalty Department was very generous but we declined their offer.

In my opinion, the reason DirecTV is dropping OANN is purely political. Evidence can be found in a letter to the CEO of AT&T from Congress member Anna G. Eshoo. The letter can be found on her official website. The end of the letter reads:

"Are you planning to continue carrying Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN on U-verse,
DirecTV, and AT&T TV both now and beyond any contract renewal date? If so, why?"

Also, (from a court document) the Chairman of the Board of Directors of AT&T also serves on the Executive Board of Directors of Staple Street Capital. Staple Street is the majority owner of Dominion Voting Systems Corporation which is the sole owner of Dominion Voting Systems, Inc.

(I would post the letter referred to in full but I probably would get blocked again)

to the dr HNS1958. You're name calling and suggesting medication does nothing to add to what you say. Only makes your comments less valuable.  I get you don't like OAN. That's ok. But I don't like the channels I assume you listen to such as cnn a station with several sexual assault charges including pedophiles , and msn with the Lauer tales and others, or that most of the alphabet channels refuse to cover or even investigate possible stories which just recently nyt admitted that the hunter laptop story IS CREDIBLE.

So why do you show disgust with OAN? Do you mean like stories that hillary is actually tied to russia? Or that the dem party is involved in the scandal of emails that may lead up to "the big guy"  and implications theat the "big guy" Boss in the wh 2014 Knew all about the candidate spying and then actually in the wh, the Ukraine prosecutor, issue,  Or do you mean like when they reported on the hunter laptop scandal. Or when the election "inconsistencies" and the many videos reported about 2400 individuals dumping hundreds of thousands of ballots into ballot boxes? Or the videos of many pole workers being thrown out of the poll watch stations? Or the Ukraine video of biden threatening the previous president of Ukraine to Fire the prosecutor investigating hunter -(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVY0VE9gCWs)  ? Or the insider trading possible issue with lawmakers such as peelosi making Incredible gains in stock trading- Remember those who make money in trades has someone on the other end losing that money. Or the fauci ties to china lab, ? Or the so many other scandals that the 'other' networks will Not cover because of their bias? That OAN ? Need to clarify your words why and no basis.

As an alternate to losing OAN channel, can subscribe at OAN to their live channel. Its quite inexpensive.  So I figure I will be saving a bunch $ from dropping directtv and keep OAN. I should thank direct for that budget savings
