Direct TV
I cancelled Direct TV in Feb. and received a bill that I have been trying to pay since then. Went into an ATT store and paid it but they mistakenly applied it to my phone bill. They are threatening to send me to collections, which would affect my credit score. Because the account is closed, there is no access to it online. It's a catch-22. No one at ATT seems to know how to handle this. Suggestions?

Oh and don't let them tell you they can't take a payment on a closed account, they CAN I used to do it all the time.
