Directv can't change my service address
I just spent over two hours talking with 5 different agents, including a supervisor in the background, who are unable to change my service address. Therefore I cannot get any local channels only national ones. Clearly a poor IT system and inadequate training for a basic function that should take a minute.

I believe my service address is an old one causing me to get wrong local channels when I use the app. I moved from TX to NV two years ago
How can I check this and get it updated if necessary?

As long as two years ago it was a Movers order, so DirecTV installing the boxes you already had, then it should be the correct address. To double check you log into your account online, or if needed call support. Be aware that service and billing address can be different (for those that have a PO Box or other alternate place to receive the bill, regardless where the service is installed).

If it's not the service address being wrong, any idea how to fix the wrong channels on the app?

If only the app is getting the wrong locals (so is correct on the actual DirecTV equipment) than that is an issue between the app and if your devices uses location services or not. You can try clearing cache/cookies, enabling/disabling location services, etc. (the normal troubleshooting). But if that doesn't fix it then only an update to the app and or the devices location services will fix it (which when is anybody's guess).

There are posts here that the app uses the wrong zip code/location for local channels, AFAIK there is no fix yet.
