Directv Contract

Where do I find my contract with Directv? I would like to understand what we agreed upon fully. I feel that they violated that contract by not providing the agreed-upon channels with the Disney dispute, but I can't find the contract to verify. The service reps say there is no way to waive the early termination fee, but I don't believe that to be true.

In my mind, they are charging me a fee for violating the contract, but without providing 10 of the agreed-upon channels, I feel that they are violating the contract as well.

You'll find that no TV provider guarantees specific channels. It's too easy for the network owners to yank their channels whenever contracts come up for renewal, just like Disney has done now.

A more resent version.

and the clause.

Programming Changes. We have the right to change, add, or remove Our programming packages, their Content, selections, prices, and any Service We offer (including the technology used to deliver them). We will try to let You know of any changes within Our reasonable control. In the event of a programming change, You have the right to cancel Your Service, either in part or entirely.  If the change is within Our control, We usually give You 30 days’ notice. If You cancel, then We may charge an Early Termination Fee and You might lose any general discounts You have received.  For more information about cancelling, please look at Section 4 “Cancellation”.

Another thing there is no "contract" with DTV when you ordered and had DTV installed you agreed to be bound by the TOS (Terms Of Service) when you signed the work order.
