Directv Sports Packages for UnAmerican Broadcasting
As your records should confirm, we have purchased the NFL ticket, Golf, as well as, the MLB ticket from Directv. It wasn’t cheap, nonetheless, we thought it worth the price. We are not renewing this year. To remove any doubt, to remove any speculation on your part, our decision is based solely on the disrespectful conduct by the players. They decided not to stand for the national anthem, we responded appropriately by deciding to simply forgo renewing the aforementioned Directv tickets. Likewise we will think twice if to purchase products from any of the advertisers who support these tickers. Please feel free to share this with your marketing and contracting divisions.

This is a public forum of other customers, so there are no records here to confirm. You must call DirecTV to opt out of the NFL Sunday Ticket (at which time you tell them your reason of course).
DirecTV has no control over what the players do. Standing or choosing not to in protest is a personal choice, not a requirement.
Sports are entertainment, and are about making money. Not exactly the best place for the National Anthem. Leave it and politics off the field and just play the game I say. National pride means so much more than making money by tossing a ball around.

You do what you’ve got to do but the players taking a knee during the anthem doesn’t bother me at all because I understand their protest and they are not disrespecting the nation, the flag or the military. I’m retired military myself, by the way.
