Dropping Fox News

Hi, I would like a credit on my bill for Fox News. It's total garbage and I refuse to pay a cent toward spreading disinformation and poisoning the minds of the susceptible. Please credit my bill immediately for the cost of carrying Fox News. THanks.

Sorry, you aren’t going to get a credit because you don’t like a channel. It doesn’t work that way.

If you don't like it, don't watch it.

@Shakebop

Networks package their channels to TV providers which in turn are required to package them to us.

You are provided a variety of news channels. It is up to you which of those you choose to watch, if any. You can even hide via a favorites lists channels you will not watch.

To not have Fox News, you would need to lower down to a package that doesn't have it. For DirecTV, the only package that doesn't have it would be Family.

As such, there is NO CREDIT for an individual channel. You are not entitled to anything different then all the rest of us customers.

Alternatively, you can cancel pay TV and go to local channels to avoid Fox News all together. To do so you must call DirecTV as nothing affects your account in a public forum.
