theft I will be reporting to the BBB

if auto pay wasn't canceled it would of came out on July 1st not July 29th yall stole out my account that I canceled

please post when you find out I canceled my direct tv due to hardship on the 29th of June. Instead of honoring my request they kept it on to try to squeeze money out of me.A person that repeatedly told them it's either tv or rent I choose rent .Turnt off the autopay that has been coming out of my account on the first day of the month for years . Wake up  on the 30th of July with 233.95 missing out of my account that they had no authorization to

You say you canceled on JUNE 29th but had a payment process on JULY 30. Are those months correct or was it JUNE 29th and 30th or July 29th and 30th?

DirecTV no longer prorates the bill upon cancelation. So if you canceled at the start of the billing month, then you would still have one more autopay to go through for your final month. However, if you were billed for the service month that started after the day you called to cancel, then that might suggest the account wasn't canceled in the first place.

Even upon cancellation there could be one more bill for final one-time charges to clear the account. This can happen if there was an early cancellation fee, non-return fee for their boxes, or unbilled PPVs found on boxes sent back.

Turning off autopay doesn't remove responsibility for any existing balance. If you close the account, but do not pay off the balance, they can charge any card you have ever used with them to collect the outstanding balance. If that is the situation, then did have authorization as that is one of the stipulations for signing up with them. That is why they require a valid card at sign-up and to have a valid one kept on file for the lifetime of your account.

In any case, this is a public forum so we can give guidance based on our experience with these situations but have no access to your account and bill to see the specifics. For that you need to call DirecTV.

Auto pay pays on day 2 of your billing cycle, your other post said it was paid on July 30 which means your billing cycle starts on the 29th be it June, July, Aug.
